No, not the next, but that day you beheld His face and chose to make Him your gaze.
Yes, the day of your rebirth when He walked you through the rituals of cleansing.
Right there in the room where He took your hands, heart and feet and placed them on His.
Where He took your past and cleared every wrong from that record.
Right there, you had a new identity, you felt undeserving and said “Come and be Lord over my life”;
You confessed “I will love you till the end”.
In a matter of time, measured in love, He said “Old things have passed away. All things are
new”;
He affirmed “I called you by name. You are mine”;
He promised “I will be your God and you shall be my people”
See what great Love the Father has lavished on you, that you should be called the Sons of God.
