LETTER FROM THE ACADEMIC ARM

Dear TACSFONITEs,

With a heartfelt love, we welcome you back to School. We bless God for a successful holiday so far. To our IT, TP and PYTP students, hope you’re ready for the new session?
We bless God for last session. It may not have gone as planned, but be rest assured that God is faithful.

The beginning of the semester is a time to build your expectations, brethren. These tips would help you on that:

1) Make out time for self reflection: Don’t begin the semester like you’re flipping the pages of a book. That action requires little or low level of reasoning. You just engage your motor skills and that’s all. Being a distinctive student requires more than that. Take some time to reflect on the previous semester to see how you can be better this semester. To help with that, a self reflection template has been created just for you. You’ll get it at the end of the article.

2) Be open minded: Being open-minded as a student means that you’re open to learning from others irrespective of their class or race. Ask questions when you need to. Other people’s experiences can give you an edge and keeo you frim making mistakes. Seek mentorship if you need to. The Academic Arm will be willing to help. Be sure that you’re actually learning. Studying is beyond the grades. You need to make sure that you can defend your knowledge anywhere and anytime.

3) Don’t leave God out of your plans: Remember the scripture that says “‭‭For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:11-13 KJV). God is interested in your academics and is ever ready to work with you if you walk with Him.

The ball is in your court. Don’t give room to negligence. You have all that you need to succeed. Start by making each day count.

We wish you a successful ride this semester. We’ll be waiting to hear of your distinctions.

With Love,
Academic Arm.
