A lamp unto my feet…
The President came up afterwards. He welcomed the preacher in person of the Patron of TACSFON UI chapter, Professor Augustine Eyiwunmi Falaye.
Professor Falaye came up and asked the congregation to remain standing and say a word of prayer; “Lord speak to me”.

He started by saying that he is always happy to be in the House. He brings greetings from his family. He then continued by giving a brief history of how TACSFON started from the very
University of Ibadan. He then went on to the topic at hand:
Topic: Becoming like Christ
Text: II Corinthians 3:18, Colossians 1:9-10
Before he started the sermon, he brought greetings from the nearest mother church; Agbowo Area, his wife, and children.
Walking worthy unto all pleasing
You have to please God and not man; being faithful when you abide in Christ and Him in you. Also, increasing and bearing fruit in Him; bearing the fruit of the Holy Spirit and also increasing in the knowledge which is able to bring in revelation. Ephesians 1:17. Wisdom comes from revelation and revelation from knowledge.
Acts of Serving with Love
God is love and every step in your spiritual journey must be in love. Love God with the
whole of your heart for he is a jealous God. God himself is the perfect love, when you want to practise love, it is from the overflowing love of God. Love is sacrifice, it demands a statement and the statement will cost you something. The verification of love is giving. When we conduct our services with love it attracts divine rewards: I Corinthians 15:58.
Brothers’ and Sisters’ love
When practised between brothers and sisters, you see yourself as the children of God and in the same image of God. To know more about love, read from I Corinthians 13:1-end, as it highlights the adverb of love. It does not envy, does not show off, is not arrogant, is not rude, is not selfish, not easily provoked, thinks no evil, does not rejoice in iniquity. The greatest valentine gift to us all is the gift of the son of God; John 3:16. Genuine love is
not emotional, but it is that of God and that brings about peaceful co-existence, beneficial
results. When this genuine love is shared genuinely, it births a Christian home.
The word ministration ended at 11:05 am.
The minister then asked everyone to pray for the country that she be transformed in every sector. The minister prayed over the sermon and for the House.
The President came up by 11:15am to pray for the minister and led the song: let there be light, your light is shining in my heart…
It was a successful one…
The president encouraged everyone to give thanks for the success of the Brothers’ and
Sisters’ Weekend 2024. He led the song: Ese ibi tee ti bere… He told everyone to remember TACSFON UI in prayer.
We declared the motto and the family song was sang in all joy. As usual, some brethren
joyfully danced to the front. The service ended at 11:34am.
We didn’t feast only on the Word …
During the closing charge, the President announced, “at the end of the service, don’t be in a hurry to go home, some persons will meet you and give you a Tacsfonic reception!”.
After the service, group pictures were taking with the Patron of the House. This opened floor for individual and group photographs.

Lo and behold, here came the Tacsfonic reception!
The seats were arranged in a round table manner, and brethren sat joyfully. At this point, a brother must sit with a sister, and vice-versa. Each and everyone was served with a plate of joyous jollof rice with meat (cooked by The Anointed Hands), bottled carbonated drinks and sachet water. Yes, sharing of cake was not left out!

While this was going on, some graceful songs were being sang accompanying the movement of the spoon. Some who were already done with their food came out and danced at the front.
The joy, the love, and the bond was evident!

Brothers and Sisters, we do not stop BECOMING…!
This is glorious. Encouraging.
Glory to God!
