Have you ever been in a situation where you find yourself worrying about a particular thing, either your academics, health, finances, or family among others?
Of course, you’ve made your supplications to the Lord saying, ” Yes Lord, I believe you will do this”. But after all the prayers you’ve made, you still frown and bite your fingers in anxiety.
Have you forgotten and need to be reminded of that particular verse in the book of Philippians 4 vs 19 which says “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus”. God has given you a great opportunity that whatever you ask in His son’s name, will be given unto you.
God has made an easy way for you to lay down your burdens upon Him, and that way is Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life and no man can get to the Father except through Him(John 14:6) .
Let me share a personal story, I was praying and asking for a particular thing from God one day and in my utmost frustration, I said “God find a way to this problem” and the Holy Spirit corrected me saying “I’m not a Wayfinder but the Waymaker” and He opened unto me Isiah 43 vs 19 which says ” See I’m doing a new thing. Now it springs up, do you not perceive that I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wastelands”.
Jesus is the Way that is made by God, the Light to illuminate the darkness in your life and because you belong to God and your totality is for Him, thus, that Light is revealed and naturally bound to you.
That phase of trouble and tribulations that you’re going through at this point in your life is not unknown to God which is confirmed in John 16:33,” In this world, you will have trouble but take heart for I have conquered this world” (Hallelujah!).
After all these confirmations in God’s Word, do you still have that shimmer of doubt in your heart? It is unhealthy for your relationship with God and it’s just like in Amos 3:3 which says ” Can two walk together except they agree?” How can you say you walk with God and not “agree” with Him? Why are you doubting His word?
Snap out of it and Rejoice!!! “We wait in hope for the Lord, He is our help and shield, in Him our hearts rejoice for we trust in His holy name”( psalm 33:20-21)
To this end, You must be ready to lay down all uncertainties, suspicions and tighten your rope of trust because He will surely make a way, sit back and watch how things are working together for your good.
All you need to do is to arise and “Rejoice evermore, pray without ceasing, in every thing, give thanks”( 1Thessalonians 5:16-18).
He is the Waymaker, not a Wayfinder!
Praise God, I can’t be stranded…..
Halleluyah 🙌
